Eligibility Criteria

Grade C

• Passed 10+2 Intermediate Exam in Any Recognized Board in India.
• English Typing: 40 Minutes | Hindi Typing: 55 Minutes

Grade D

• Passed 10+2 Intermediate Exam in Any Recognized Board in India.
• English Typing: 50 Minutes | English: 65 Minutes

Steps to Apply

1. Visit the official SSC website or open the ‘mySSC’ mobile app.
2. Complete the One-Time Registration (OTR) process.
3. Fill in the application form with accurate personal and educational details.
4. Upload the required documents, including a recent photograph and signature.
5. Pay the application fee, if applicable.
6. Submit the application and take a printout for future reference.

Selection Process

The selection process comprises two stages:

Computer-Based Test (CBT):

Consists of 200 multiple-choice questions covering General Intelligence & Reasoning, General Awareness, and English Language & Comprehension.

Each question carries one mark.

Negative marking of 0.25 marks for each incorrect answer.

Skill Test:

Candidates who qualify in the CBT will be called for a skill test in stenography.

The skill test is qualifying in nature.
